During her Undergraduate Career, Netra successfully completed many courses like Newsroom Studio, Film 101, Sound Production, TV Studio Production, Intro To Film Production, Intro To Acting, Business of Entertainment and many more. As part of her Newsroom Studio class, she directed an episode for The Husky News Network and won a New England Student Emmy Award for Direction. She also made her first short film - "Hands - A Silent Film" as a student.  

Netra has always enjoyed creating fictional longer formats. Under the Rune Productions banner, she has completed directing and co-writing five short films. Her first short film, "Ek Anchaha Mehman" screened at The Bandra Film Festival. Her second short film "Neelima - It's Love, Not Lust" won an accolade at the Jaipur Film Festival 2022'. Being the Chief Executive Storyteller at Rune Films, the Digital Content banner under Rune Productions, Netra conceptualized a property called “Mobile Movies”. These series of short stories have all been filmed using an iPhone and with limited resources. It has a unified theme of "Give & Take". She wanted to try her hand at capturing the realism of everyday conversations we have, in our daily life and how such conversations end up being the biggest teachers of life!
